Hi Everyone,

Well, ever since I got the call or the email I should say, I have been doing research on promotions.  Wow!  There are a lot of websites out there that authors can advertise on.  I, also, got two books on marketing.  One is Plug your Book online.  The other is 1001 ways to market your book.  Plug your Book Online is really interesting and gives you a lot of helpful tips on how to maximize your exposure online.  I haven’t really had a chance to dive into the other book yet.  It’s the size of the Writer’s Market so it should take a while to get through.  Anyway, I have also been making notes on sites that I want to advertise on with the costs.

Other than that, my website is almost ready   I’m so excited about that!  It should be live very soon.  I am sitting down with the developer today, so keep checking www.shaunahart.com for changes.

This weekend I am gearing up for a movie night with my husband and son, which usually includes a lot of candy and popcorn.  My son usually falls asleep in a jumble of blankets.  It will either be Star Wars or Bee Movie.

Hi Everyone,

As most of you probably already know, I got the call (or should I say the email) last week!  Whiskey Creek Press is going to publish my erotic romance novel, The Pleasure of Sin.  I am so excited that I am still pinching myself.  Most of you know from previous posts that I plan this to be a three book series.  I am working on the second book right now, which it titled Den of Desire.  Hopefully, Whiskey Creek will end up picking up this book too.   Now, I am starting the process of building a marketing plan for the book and waiting for the edits to come in. 

They say there is nothing quite like the moment when you learn you are going to be published.  And I must say that they are right.  I was literally tingling from head to toe.  I still am.
